Chinese High-Performance Water Repellent has the Same Waterproofing Effect as Sikagard®-705L.SilibaseWR-705L is a one-component low viscosity,solvent free, reactive impregnation for concrete and cementitious substrates.The main component of SilibaseWR-705L high-permeability siliceous protective agent is isooctyl or isobutyl triethoxysilane, with a content of more than 98%. This product can be used for the protection of new concrete structures and the reinforcement and maintenance of old concrete buildings. It can effectively inhibit the damage caused by various corrosion factors to reinforced concrete structures and significantly improve the durability and service life of concrete structures.

Comparable to Sikagard®-705L, our Water Repellent forms a long-lasting water-repellent layer to protect against rain and humidity.

Project Painting Guide

Concrete age: New construction should be carried out after the concrete components have been cured for 4 weeks, and repair work should be carried out after 2 weeks of curing.

Surface treatment: The concrete surface should be treated before impregnation with silane: (a) Use cement slurry to repair obvious defects such as honeycombs, exposed reinforcement, holes, cracks, etc.; Use a steel spatula to remove surface debris and loose attachments; (b) Remove dust, oil and other harmful substances and pollutants that are not conducive to silane impregnation; (c) When concrete uses a release agent or curing agent, determine the effect of the release agent or curing agent on silane impregnation through a spray test, otherwise it should be fully removed before silane impregnation. The concrete surface should be dry before spraying silane, and the water content of the concrete surface should not be greater than 6%.

Construction equipment

For large-area silane application, it is recommended to use a high-pressure sprayer, which has high construction efficiency and can reduce the loss of raw materials. For small-area application, brushing or rolling can be used.

Maintenance: After silane construction, ensure that it is not exposed to rain for at least 24 hours and dry naturally.

Safety measures: This product should be kept away from flowers and plants, and any items that should not be exposed to the solvent environment should be protected. Construction workers should wear goggles and protective gloves as required during construction. If accidentally inhaled, move to a place with fresh air immediately. If it comes into contact with the skin, wash it with water for 15 minutes immediately; if it comes into contact with the eyes, wash it with water for more than 15 minutes immediately, take off the contaminated clothes and shoes in time, and seek medical attention in serious cases.
